Penaudio Serenade Supreme 3-way floorstanding speaker: graphene-coated diffusers, titanium coils and beryllium tweeter
The Serenade Supreme 3-way floorstanding speaker is similar to the previous version of the Signature only in appearance and size. The rest of the acoustics is a completely new product.
Like the other new Supreme speakers, Seas Excel emitters are used here. The woofers and midrange (146 mm each) received graphene-coated magnesium cones, titanium voice coils and FEA magnets.
As explained by Penaudio, the magnesium-graphene membrane, while being strong and lightweight, has high damping performance and provides “the ultimate sonic performance.”
As for the tweeter, the Serenade Supreme features a 29mm beryllium dome tweeter with a neodymium magnet ring. Such a driver is said to have low modulation and harmonic distortion.
The crossovers (140 Hz, 45 kHz) used Mundorf Hepta Strand coils, MCap EvoSilverGoldOil capacitors and MResist Supreme resistors. Acoustics operate in the range from 30 Hz to 35 kHz. Sensitivity – 88 dB, impedance – 8 Ohm. Recommended power – from 30 W. The column weight was 30 kg.
The company offered several types of finishes: birch, zebrano, gloss black, white gloss or any color according to the RAL standard.
