Spotify added a feature to search songs by words

The music service Spotify has a new feature that lets you find the songs you want simply by their lyrics. In the search bar, you must enter the words from the song – and the system will return matching results.

Found may contain several compositions if the words of the texts match. For example, the service will offer original versions, cover versions, live recordings. Also, completely different tracks with the same words used in the search can appear in the search results.

Among other things, Spotify will now publish its own “Top 50″chart on a weekly basis. However, for some reason, they decided to publish this chart not in the app itself, but via Twitter. The us and “minor” global “Top 50” charts will be updated on Mondays. Previous daily charts will be saved and users will always be able to find them in the app itself.
