Video game streamer Ninja has released a sweatshirt for wearing headphones over the hood
Video game streamer Tyler Blevins, who creates content under the nickname Ninja, has released a rather unusual sweatshirt: the description says that her hood is designed so that you can wear full-size headphones over it without sacrificing sound. The hood design is currently being patented.
There are large holes in the hood on the left and right, covered with a “mesh” – it is through them that the sound of the headphones passes without problems. The idea is not new: Back in 2014, Betabrand introduced a sweatshirt for audio engineers, in which the hood was completely made of acoustically transparent fabric and allowed you to wear headphones over the top without losing sound quality. On the other hand, Champion has created a sweatshirt with a huge hood that can easily fit a variety of full-size headphones.
The Ninja sweatshirt, however, is noticeably cheaper than the Betabrand development: only $60 versus $158 at the time of release – and the latter is no longer in stock. For those who prefer to wear hoods and large headphones, it may well be comfortable, and the logos of the Ninja itself are small and almost invisible. You will be able to purchase a sweatshirt for headphones in the official store.
