Cabasse Pearl sub active subwoofer: 1,000W power and built-in Hi-Res DAC
The Cabasse Pearl sub active subwoofer is a specialized WOOFER system and DAC for working with Cabasse iO3, Riga 2 and Baltic 5 speakers.
The model received a 25 cm carbon fiber radiator with a stroke of 30 mm. The driver is powered by a 1,000-watt amplifier. In addition, two 300 W amplifier modules are hidden in the case specifically for plug-in speakers.
Two proprietary technologies will help you set up a set of two speakers and a sub: DEAP and CRCS. These systems will adjust the sound of the entire setup and adjust it to the user.
Using the Stream Control app, the owner of the Cabasse 2.1 kit will be able to set up a multiroom. The company also drew attention to the fact that you can manage the Pearl Sub and connected speakers via Google Assistant.
A separate emphasis should be placed on streaming capabilities. In addition to its main function, the Pearl Sub subwoofer can receive signals from music platforms like Qobuz, Deezer, Spotify, and Tidal. To do this, the device is equipped with both a wireless module and a network connection via cable. In addition to online services, the subwoofer is compatible with home data storage and computers. The built-in Converter can handle signals up to 32 bit/768 kHz.
From the connectors on Board there is an optical input, analog linear, Ethernet and USB. There is also a standard Bluetooth for connecting source gadgets. The new product is made in the corporate style of Cabasse: a matte multi-layer coating, a silver ring stand and an elegant brand logo.
In the European market, the Pearl Sub subwoofer is available as a separate product and complete with the above speakers. The estimated cost of a sub without speakers was 3,000 euros.
