According to the Helsinki Times, Nightwish’s virtual concert “An Evening with Nightwish in the Virtual World” attracted 150,000 viewers on its first night (Friday 28 May). The largest number of visitors were from Europe and North America, but fans from all over the world joined him as tickets were sold to 108 countries ahead of the second show.
The box office gross of Nightwish’s virtual concerts matches a major concert in the stadium and exceeds a million euros, making the event the largest paid virtual concert in Finnish history.
The concert “An Evening with Nightwish in the Virtual World” was held at The Islanders Arms tavern. Every evening (May 28/29), the fans of the group could watch an unforgettable one and a half hour performance, hearing the songs from the last album of the group “Human. :II: Nature”.
