Californian company Audience has created a transparent support for JEWEL CableLifter cables. The novelty, made of monolithic transparent material, is ideal for distance from the supporting surface of power cables, speaker cables and interconnect cables, according to the company. This will avoid mechanical stress in thick power cables, as well as, for example, remove cables from reinforced concrete floors, in which parasitic currents can flow, creating interference and pickup.
“Many audiophiles find the use of cable lifts a useful improvement to get the most out of their systems”, said John McDonald, President of Audience. “By lifting the cables off the floor and keeping them apart, you can achieve improved detail, resolution, and spaciousness for a more enjoyable listening experience”. The cost of one JEWEL CableLifter in the US market was $60.
