Bassocontinuo Ultra Feet: four proven levels of vibration isolation based on Technogel

The Italian company Bassocontinuo has introduced the Ultra Feet vibration isolating mounts for audio equipment. They are based on Technogel vibration damping material developed by Technogel Gmbh in collaboration with Bayer Chemical Company.

Technogel has been named the best liquid-solid material on the market by Bassocontinuo. According to the company, it combines three-dimensional fluid deformation and therefore maximum damping on one side and shape memory on the other.

Each Ultra Feet has two vibration isolators: top and bottom. Thus, the electronic device “floats” on supports without mechanical contact with the supporting surface. In addition, each leg is height adjustable.

Ultra Feet legs are available in four levels, calibrated for a specific load range: up to 10, 20, 40 or 80 kg. These products are named accordingly: Classic, Reference, Revolution and Ultimate.

The developers emphasized that all Ultra Feet supports have been tested by the Italian company Vicoter, specialized in the examination of vibration processes, in cooperation with the Polytechnic University of Milan.

Thus, according to Bassocontinuo, the Ultra Feet vibration dampers were the first among analogues to receive laboratory confirmation of their effectiveness. Measurement data are presented on the manufacturer’s website.

The cost of Ultra Feet supports is not known yet.
