Dave Mustaine of Megadeth announced the upcoming release of an autobiographical book about the album “Rust In Peace”
Musician Dave Mustaine has announced an autobiographical book dedicated to his band Megadeth and in particular the album “Rust In Peace”, which many fans consider one of the best in the band’s discography. The book “Rust In Peace: The Inside Story of the Megadeth Masterpiece” is due for sale (in English) language on September 8 of this year. If there are no rescheduling dates, then the work will be just in time for the 30th anniversary of the album “Rust In Peace”.
The press release says that the book about “Rust In Peace” is a “true story” of an anti-pop culture that “gradually became mainstream”. As a rock star should, in his new book, Mustaine touched on the themes of personal growth, human vices, values, and everything else that has always been associated with rock music.
The Foreword for “Rust In Peace: The Inside Story of the Megadeth Masterpiece” was written by guitarist Slash (Saul Hudson), who knows firsthand what heavy metal and rock are like in the late ’80s. The band Megadeth has released 15 Studio albums. In 2016, the album “Dystopia” was released. This record quickly became one of the best works of the band. According to Mustaine, the band is preparing another album of 18 tracks.
The musician promised that fans will not be disappointed. Mustaine has recently been completely cured of cancer. In the US, Rust In Peace: The Inside Story of the Megadeth Masterpiece is already available for pre-order at $28. Fans are also offered various sets (books, mugs, t-shirts, prints, bags) that cost from $100.
