Focal has introduced the premium 1000 Series indoor and ceiling acoustics
Focal has expanded the range of speakers with a premium installation series, which includes several ceiling and wall-mounted models. The manufacturer noted that all 1000 Series speakers are made in accordance with proprietary technologies, including beryllium tweeters and W-diffusers. On the basis of the new built-in speakers, you can build a DC, multi-room system or stereo.
Specifically for the 1000 Series, the manufacturer has developed and implemented several new technologies and systems. For example, Focal engineers created special mechanisms that allow you to change the direction of the emitter, and also used their Easy Quick Install quick installation system.
The company paid special attention to the possibility of connecting not only the main speaker to one amplifier channel, but also one or more subwoofers (it is possible to add one, two, four or six special subs to one speaker).
All models of the series have an embedding depth of less than 10 cm. To date, there are six 1000 Series installation speakers in the Focal catalog.
The 1000 IWLCR Utopia is the most advanced and expensive system in the series. It uses a beryllium tweeter, W-bass speakers, and special midrange speakers with a complex “M” profile.
The speaker provides the ability to change the angle of inclination for the correct dispersion of sound waves. Up to six 1000 IWSUB Utopia subwoofers can be connected to the 1000 IWLCR Utopia-these are models with a closed design and three 6.5-inch W-emitters.
The 1000 IWLCR6 is a premium three-band LCR speaker for all applications, including high-end projects. This speaker is simpler than the flagship 1000 IWLCR Utopia, and the main difference lies in the number of emitters and their layout. However, the brand-name W-diffuser and Beryllium tweeter are also involved.
The ICLCR5 ceiling panels, as explained by the manufacturer, will be the optimal solution for a home cinema hall. This speaker system uses an adjustable treble / midrange section and an Easy Quick Install system for quick installation without tools.
The in-wall 1000 IW6 and ceiling 1000 ICW6 are compact two-way models designed for both surrounding cinema system channels and music.
Finally, the 1000 ICA6 ceiling speaker with a 35° coaxial module was designed specifically for complex installation tasks that require a sound source with a precisely directed field. The Model 1000 ICA6 also provides Easy Quick Install installation.
