OneOdio Monitor 60 Review
We recently reviewed Studio Hi-Fi headphones – one of the models of the young Chinese manufacturer OneOdio, and were quite satisfied with the price/quality ratio of this model. The brand focuses on the accessibility of its products to a range of different users. And if the OneOdio Studio Hi-Fi model is aimed at consumers who want to get acquainted with high-quality sound for minimal money, then the new Monitor 60 model, thanks to its ability to fold and turn in different directions, is aimed at DJs. OneOdio Monitor 60, like Studio Hi-Fi, has a Hi-Res certificate and a frequency range 20Hz-40KHz, and is also perfect for studio work. Let’s take a closer look at the OneOdio Monitor 60 and figure out what exactly the new model is and who it really suits best.
Packaging
The OneOdio Monitor 60 comes in a simple, small cardboard box. Included is a standard branded case and three different cables.

In the Box:
- MONITOR 60 Wired Headphones
- Manual

Design and Features
OneOdio Monitor 60 is quite comfortable for long term use. Due to their light weight of 300g, it will not be difficult to spend several hours at the studio or concert without overwork.
The headband is finished with soft leatherette and has the brand name on the top.
The mechanism for attaching the bowls is perhaps the most interesting part of the OneOdio Monitor 60. It is made of thick plastic and has 3 moving parts, thanks to which each of the bowls can be very conveniently used separately, for example, when mixing tracks at a concert.
The movement of the fastening mechanisms is quite easy, while in general the design feels well assembled and does not cause any complaints.
The earpads are made from the same soft leatherette as the headband and have a memory effect, albeit a rather weak one. Since the OneOdio Monitor 60 has rather large 50mm neodymium drivers with 38ohm impedance, the cups turned out quite large, which has a positive effect on comfort. The ear completely penetrates the earcup without any discomfort. Among the shortcomings, one can note the lack of perforation of the leatherette, which during prolonged use can cause fogging of the ears.
On the outside of the bowl there is a decorative mesh under which the logo of the OneOdio company. It looks very interesting and slightly diversifies the rather standard general appearance of the model.
OneOdio Monitor 60 has two connectors – 3.5mm on the right bowl and 6.35mm on the left, which makes them versatile when connected to different types of source. In general, the design is assembled well, the comfort during long-term use is quite high.
Sound
OneOdio Monitor 60 has a fairly flat frequency response with a predominance of low and medium frequencies. At the same time, at a volume above average, the headphones begin to noticeably stir up the overall sound picture, high frequencies begin to acquire a rather flat sound. There is no need to talk about attenuation and the width of the stage here, it simply does not exist. This is apparently due to the monitor orientation of the model and, when connected to the Focusrite Scarlett Solo 3rd Gen sound card, the sound picture noticeably improved and acquired a smoother and more harmonious look.
OneOdio Monitor 60 does not produce audiophile sound feed, it is primarily a headphone for mixing and studio work, where sound cards are used that give a suitable smooth professional sound.
Conclusions
The OneOdio Monitor 60 is a great budget option for the home studio or touring DJ. With the right choice of source, the headphones produce clear, professional sound and allow you to spend several hours without fatigue. At $79 currently priced on the official website for the OneOdio Monitor 60, it’s a good solution in the under $100 price range, but we recommend that you first listen to them on a specific sound card you are going to work with, perhaps the veracity of the sound feed will not suit everyone. However, the Monitor 60 is still a good deal for its price.
