Forgotten footage of John Lennon and Yoko Ono in 1968 combined with a new version of the song “Look At Me”
The hitherto unpublished videos of John Lennon and Yoko Ono were edited with a remixed recording of Lennon’s song “Look At Me”. The video is taken from color and black and white 8-mm films shot in 1968 by cameraman William Wareing and his team.
This “home movie” was shot in between takes of John and Yoko’s films. This refers to Yoko’s “Film No. 5” (Film No. 5) or “Smile” (Smile) and “Two Virgins” (Two Virgins) by Lennon.
The song “Look At Me” will be the second track on the album’s version of “John Lennon/Plastic Ono Band-The Ultimate Collection” due on April 23rd via Capitol/UMe. The 8-disc super deluxe box is dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the first release of the album, which John himself called “the best thing I’ve ever done”.
