Creative Technology has announced the release of the Sound Blaster GC7, the first gaming DAC and amplifier in the new series. The device is equipped with four fully programmable buttons, allowing users to prescribe scenarios to their liking.
Users can immediately customize the buttons with their preferred sound profiles for games, movies, and music, and you can also adjust the RGB backlight color on the control knobs to your liking.
The Sound Blaster GC7 has on-board full support for proprietary audio processing technologies, including Super X-Fi. Users can use features such as Crystallizer and Smart Volume when connecting speakers. Scout Mode technology amplifies the movement sounds of opponents in the game, allowing Sound Blaster GC7 users to be one step ahead of their opponents.
The Super X-FI headphone technology will immerse the user in an audio holography that recreates the same vast sound stage as a multi-speaker system. The SXFI BATTLE Mode provides a realistic sound, allowing you to understand not only the direction, but also the distance to the enemy.
The Sound Blaster GC7 is also an audiophile-class DAC, providing low noise and less distortion. Users can listen to content in up to 24-bit / 192 kHz quality. There is also support for 7.1 virtual surround sound in headphones and speakers, as well as Dolby Digital decoding.
With GameVoice Mix, in-game chats also become as convenient as possible. Users can easily adjust the in-game sound and chat volume using the conveniently located scroll wheel.
The Sound Blaster GC7 is simple and intuitive to use, and is compatible with a variety of platforms from PC, Mac to PS5, PS4, and Nintendo Switch.
