HiFiMan HE-R9: premium headphones with optional Bluetooth module

HiFiMan HE-R9 headphones are a premium model with closed ear cups and proprietary Topology Diaphragm speaker technology. According to the company, this driver system, which uses rare earth magnets delivers detailed sound from 15Hz to 35kHz.

The manufacturer also emphasized diaphragms with special nanoparticles designed to optimize the performance of the driver. The sensitivity of the headphones – 100dB, the impedance – 32 ohms.

Built for extended listening sessions, the HiFiMan HE-R9 features soft foam ear cushions and a lightweight steel headband. For decoration, genuine leather is used.

Bluemini R2R module

As for connecting to the source, the company offered a traditional 3.5mm jack, but if you wish, you can order a modification with a wireless connection via the Bluemini R2R module which we recently reviewed, the same module comes with the HiFiMan Deva Pro (LDAC, aptX HD, SBC, AAC).

Availability and price

HiFiMan HE-R9 are already available for order. The wired version of the HiFiMan HE-R9 will cost $599 if ordered through the company’s online store. The Bluemini R2R wireless module is $150 more expensive.
