Orchard Audio PecanPi USB/SPDIF DAC received Roon Tested Certificate
Another model of the PecanPi family from Orchard Audio received the Roon Tested certificate: this time the PecanPi USB / SPDIF DAC is certified. The younger model of PecanPi in the version without USB has already received such a certificate in the early autumn of last year.
Initially, the PecanPi entered the market as a device with which you can use various software platforms for playback control — among them were listed Volumio, Rune Audio, moOde Audio, piCorePlayer and promised support for Roon. This is a promise that Orchard Audio has kept.
Orchard Audio PecanPi USB/SPDIF is a DAC and headphone amplifier that works with USB and S/PDIF inputs and uses a dual Burr-Brown monaural chip.
