PSB M4U 8 MKII Wireless Headphones: Audiodo Sound Profiles and aptX HD

The PSB M4U 8 Active Noise Canceling Wireless Headphones were introduced two years ago and now PSB decided it was time to update the model. The new PSB M4U 8 MKII features an improved battery, sound personalization and several additional technologies designed to improve sound quality and usability.

PSB M4U 8 MKII has a Bluetooth module with aptX HD support, 40mm speakers and a “professional grade” amplifier module. This is enough to listen to Hi-Res, and Audiodo Personal Sound technology will help make the sound “more interesting”. We wrote about this calibration system and individual profiles earlier.

According to the PSB, the battery can last up to 18 hours in ANC mode or 25 hours without ANC. It is worth noting that the company also paid attention to ANC technology: the noise reduction system is based on four MEMS microphones with fully digital control. PSB has promised an almost flawless performance.

Among other things, the manufacturer noted that the PSB M4U 8 MKII can also be used in passive mode with a cable: there is a 3.5mm and USB-C connection.

In the US, the new PSB M4U 8 MKII is already available for pre-order at a price of $400. Deliveries will begin in November.
