Public Enemy released a video «State of The Union (STFU)»

American hip-hop group Public Enemy released a video for the recently released song “State of the Union (STFU)”. Music from Dj Premiere.

“[Public Enemy] returned to the barricades with a new attack on Donald Trump and his fascist regime. This is an honest statement about all the hardships that have befallen the country and its people because of the presidential administration. The track encourages people to fight against racism, injustice and harassment with their voice”, reads a press release in support of the single.

The politicized rap from the people who originated it is dedicated to the rule of the current US President Donald Trump. Black-and-white footage of the video, in which the band members and Dj appear, is replaced by inserts from the President’s speeches, police detentions of African-Americans, and protests.

“Our voices are getting louder. The whole planet is on our side. But it is not enough to talk about changes. We must demand changes and show what they are. We need to vote as if our lives depend on it — and they do”, said Chuck D of Public Enemy.
