PureAudioProject Trio15 Coaxial speakers: Eminence speakers with Mundorf crossovers and Klotz Audio cables

PureAudioProject, a manufacturer of acoustics, introduced Trio15 Coaxial acoustics. The novelty is created within the framework of the proprietary Trio 15 platform, in which Open Baffle systems are produced — with open cases.

As provided by the platform, Trio15 Coaxial is assembled in the D’Appolito architecture. In the center is a midrange / treble speaker OB-COAX10H1 — a 10-inch driver designed specifically for use in open systems and supplemented with a coaxial 1.4-inch horn tweeter.

Their ranges are separated by a fourth-order crossover, while at the transition from mid to low frequencies, the order is only second. In the crossover circuit, Mundorf components were used: Silver/Gold oil capacitors and inductors wound with copper foil.

At low frequencies, each speaker has a pair of exclusive OB-a15neo bass speakers. All these speakers are created by the American company Eminence Speaker LLC. The wiring is done with a Klotz Audio purecopper cable.

As a result, Trio15 Coax10 ” with an impedance of 8 ohms show a sensitivity of 96 dB in the frequency range from 32 Hz to 20 kHz. As usual, pureaudioproject offered a different set of new products — for example, as a set for updating the Trio15 acoustics (the most budget option) or entirely, but with different types of finishes and material of partitions.

The price of Trio15 Coax10 ” in the United States is in the range of 3,490 to 7,490 dollars, and free shipping is promised for Europe and the United States. For the rest of the world, it costs an extra $300.
