The second model in the new line of wireless speakers from Sony received at its disposal all the same features as the older SRS-RA5000, but it has fewer speakers.
The Sony SRS-RA3000 wireless speaker is equipped with an 80 mm wide-band speaker facing up, two 17 mm tweeters mounted on the side panels, and two oblong passive radiators measuring 103 x 37 mm. The manufacturer claims that it is possible to operate the speaker in wet rooms such as a bathroom, but in the absence of IP certification, it is better not to expose the speaker to direct water exposure.
The functional equipment of the Sony SRS-RA3000 includes support for all current voice assistants, 360 Reality Audio format, as well as automatic calibration of the sound field. All functions are managed through the proprietary Sony Music Center app.
The Sony SRS-RA3000 model will start selling in Europe in February 2021 at a price of 350 euros.
