Ruark launches Amplis audio system in collaboration with luxury furniture brand Linley

Ruark appliances are distinguished by a special “interior” design and high-quality veneer in finishing, so the cooperation of this company with a furniture manufacturer looks logical.

Last spring, together with luxury furniture brand Linley, Ruark released special versions of its Bluetooth radio in vibrant graphic colors. Now it’s time for a larger system: the Amplis is based on the R5 all-in-one system, but features a unique veneer finish.

As with the Tempo radio, the Amplis is based on diverging beams. Shades: a combination of green, black and creamy white – and even the front panel is covered not with gray fabric, but black. Six different types of veneer (sycamore, pama, tulipye and anegri) are used in the decoration, the thinnest sheets of which are carefully combined with each other.

The systems are assembled entirely by hand in the UK. The technical characteristics of the new item have not changed: this is a multifunctional system with Wi-Fi, streaming and DLNA support, with two full-range speakers and a subwoofer that power amplifiers of class AB at 90 W, with a slot drive for CDs, a set of digital and analog inputs for connection sources, as well as a screen that displays all the necessary information.

The Amplis sound system will cost £5,750 in the UK.
