Russ Andrews TT-2 Turntable Interconnect cable with Kimber Select conductors
British audio producer Russ Andrews and his company of the same name introduced the TT-2 Turntable Interconnect cable. Based on a previous development, the Russ Andrews TT-1 uses high quality Kimber Select conductors.
Kimber’s unique woven geometry
The Russ Andrews TT-2 Turntable Interconnect cable is made in an updated version of the weave, more typical of Kimber. The cable includes three pure copper conductors with Teflon insulation encased in a shield also made by Kimber.
The manufacturer noted that this screen is connected in a special way, further reducing noise and interference.
Teflon insulated Kimber ground wire
In addition, the construction was supplemented with a grounding wire with petal tips. The cable got RCA UltraPlate connectors – also by Kimber Kable.
Thus, the Russ Andrews TT-2 Turntable Interconnect cable is something more than a Kimber Kable product. According to the manufacturer’s assurances: “The new TT-2 provides a big performance increase for mid-level designs, opening up the music, allowing it to flow more ‘freely’, sounding cleaner, clearer, more musical and more relaxing”.
Price and availability
In the UK, the Russ Andrews TT-2 Turntable Interconnect cable is already available from £239 for a half-meter pair.
