Sonore Power Chord Support for power cables: a simple solution made of eco-friendly PLA plastic
The American brand Sonore has offered an accessory that allows you to securely connect massive power cables to sockets. A new product called Sonore Power Chord Support was created for the proprietary Sonore Power Chord power cable. Naturally, it is suitable for many other models. The device is compatible with NEMA 5-15R and NEMA 5-20R connectors.
In terms of functionality, Power Chord Support resembles the C-LOCK Power Connection Guard from Block Audio. It is extremely simple — it is a cylindrical segment sticking out of the” body ” of the socket and supporting the connector from below. For the correct position of the cable, a slot is made in the support. The device does not complicate the connection and disconnection of power — however, it sticks out of the wall, so you need to be careful.
Power Chord Support was released in two versions: double and single, both on a double outlet. The accessory is printed on a 3D printer made of plastic PLA (polylactide) – a completely biodegradable, safe, environmentally friendly product obtained from corn or sugar beet.
In the US, a dual Sonore Power Chord Support socket with one cable support will cost $80, and with two — $100.
