Vie Petite: headphones for small ears
After several successful projects on Kickstarter, Vie Style started another one called Vie Petite. These are True Wireless earbuds that follow the design of AirPods. The main difference between Vie Petite is that they are small. The body dimensions have been reduced by almost 3 mm. In addition, the Vie Petite earpieces are designed to be swivel for precise placement in the ear canal at the correct angle.
The developers explained that the new product will suit the owners (and especially the owners) of small ears, for which the “plugs” of regular size and standard shape can become a source of discomfort or even cause loss of headphones. Vie Petite’s small footprint and precise fit thanks to its flexible tip is complemented by a set of five earbuds. In addition to the traditional sizes L, M and S, there are even smaller SS and even XS in the set.
All this allows for better adaptation of the headphones, the precise fit of which, according to Vie Style, also provides high-quality passive noise isolation. In turn, this creates good conditions for the operation of a rather large 10 mm driver with a neodymium magnet system. Vie Petite are equipped with Bluetooth 5.0 and cover the frequency range of 20 Hz – 20 kHz.
The earbuds can work 12 hours from one charge (4 hours from their own batteries – two more charges will be provided by the rechargeable case). Vie Petite is controlled by a system of short and long touches. The earbuds are IPX4 water and sweat resistant and come in two colors: Midnight Black and Arctic White.
With the announced amount of $5,000 for the successful implementation of the project on Kickstarter, Vie Petite has already raised more than $7,000 20 days before its completion. With a Kickstarter investment equivalent to $70 (this is the future headphone price with almost 50% discount), it will be possible to get Vie Petite in March 2021.
