Yamaha will launch the WXAD-10 wireless streaming adapter on the Russian market.
The new product supports the Yamaha MusicCast multi-room wireless music system, which can be supplemented with many compatible components, including the Yamaha Clavinova digital piano. In parallel, WXAD-10 supports Airplay (no version specified). The device has access to music from streaming services, Internet radio, mobile gadgets, computers and network storages. The streamer is equipped with a Wi-Fi module and an Ethernet port.
The WXAD-10’s low-jitter sound quality is ensured by the Original Network Module with a precise clock. The onboard Burr-Brown PCM5121 DAC will enable the WXAD-10 to decode digital audio in WAV, FLAC and AIFF formats up to 24-bit / 192 kHz and ALAC up to 24-bit / 96 kHz.
To control the WXAD-10 and, along with it, the entire MusicCast home group, you will need to install the MusicCast Controller application. In addition, the streamer interacts with Smart Home IP control systems – for example, Control 4.
Its compact size and discreet design make it easy to find a place for the WXAD-10 in any interior. The novelty will go on sale on October 28, 2020 at a price of about $180.
