Chick Corea died
The jazz pianist Chick Corea died at the age of 79. The cause was a rare form of cancer that was only recently discovered. This is stated on his website.
Chick has performed for over half a century, working with such famous musicians as Miles Davis, Dizzy Gillespie, Herbie Mann and many others. He has been nominated for a Grammy 67 times and has received it 23 times – more than any other jazz musician.
