Panasonic launches SC-PMX802 mini system with Technics technologies
The Panasonic SC-PMX802 Premium Mini Hi-Fi System features a classic design and full range of networking capabilities. The traditional CD-tray and DAB + tuner are complemented by a host of useful features: Chromecast (with Tidal and Deezer access), Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and Airplay 2 with Google Assistant control and Spotify Connect support.
The novelty works perfectly in tandem with a TV: the analogue AUX input is equipped with an auto-on function when a signal occurs. If you connect it, for example, with a headphone output, you get a completely functional replacement for ARC.
The quality of playback of CDs, MP3 and Bluetooth will be raised by the proprietary High-Res Re-Master function. Via USB on the front panel, the PMX802 reads audio from an external drive, including FLAC files up to 24-bit / 192 kHz. The JENO Engine (Jitter Elimination and Noise-shaping Optimization) from Technics is responsible for the improved sound.
The system head unit is connected to two three-way speakers with soft dome tweeters and bezels with wood texture. The PMX802 reproduces sound from the low frequency limit of 50 Hz. The novelty has received two finishes: black and silver.
In the UK, the Panasonic SC-PMX802 Hi-Fi System will cost £550.
