PMC has opened another factory in the UK

UK PMC has launched a new facility in the UK. The expansion was needed to meet the demand for the recently released PMC CI series speakers. This series of six models uses the patented PMC technology. CI acoustics are also used in the professional field. CI Series models will be featured in the Rolling Stones Unzipped Global Tour.

According to Peter Thomas, owner of PMC, the parameters provided by the CI series loudspeakers are outside the Dolby minimum requirements for Dolby Atmos studio systems. As a result, these speakers have proven to be attractive to internationally renowned studios like Capitol Studios in Los Angeles and Dean Street Studios in London.

The new production facility, located near PMC’s head office in Biggleswade, took up an area of about 560 square meters, including additional storage space. PMC also purchased equipment for acoustic testing and critical listening, which each CI monitor will undergo before shipping.
