Symbol Audio Creates Stands Specifically For McIntosh Equipment

McIntosh has partnered with American hi-fi furniture manufacturer Symbol Audio. The goal is to offer equipment racks that fit well with McIntosh’s products.

The choice of a partner such as Symbol Audio is said to be driven by its product level. The uprights are made of North American hardwood under a durable, transparent, low-sheen varnish that accentuates the texture of the wood. Affiliation with McIntosh is indicated by a backlit glass bezel that turns on along with the rest of the setup.

In addition to beauty, functionality also plays an important role – Symbol stands are equipped with hidden casters for easy movement around the room. The shelves are secured by 6mm stainless steel pins – they are vibration-resistant and height-adjustable. The vertical structural elements are supplemented with cable ties.

The pillar finishes are available in charcoal ash, natural walnut and wenge walnut.
